BIRTHDAY-IN-A-BOX FOR FAMILIES IN NEED
Thanks to all of our Discipleship Formation families who attended our last Family Service Night of the year! We made 80 Birthday Boxes for local food pantries to keep on hand. Parents and kids said this was their favorite project we've done!
FUN FACT: Did you know you can substitute a can of pop for eggs to make a light and fluffy cake? We included a can of Sprite or Coke with a cake mix box, a can of frosting, along with candles and some sprinkles. Then the kids decorated the boxes with fun birthday messages for the recipients!
Special thanks to a few good men of MPB who delivered 68 of the boxes to Hope Clinic. A dozen of the boxes were also delivered to St. Mary's in Wayne. Both organizations were super grateful!

THANK YOU TO ALL PARISH AND SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS
The Social Hall was filled with over 200 of our parish and school volunteers as they came together for our annual Volunteer Appreciation Mass and Reception on Wednesday evening. Food provided by Jim's Custom Catering featured a variety of food choices like stuffed cabbage, cheese ravioli, stuffed chicken, roast beef, enchiladas, and more. Fr. Tommy led the raffle drawing and altar server Matthew Squires was the grand prize winner! Everyone left with a Tiny Saint of Blessed Solanus Casey keychain and full stomachs!
What's happening at our sister parish in Uganda?
Our friends at St Kizito's continue to be blessed from the very successful fundraiser held in December. The third floor of the medical clinic is now complete and the Hope for Pregnant Mothers Project has been fully funded.From Rhoda Grace, Clinic Administrator:
"This month more mothers have been able to safely give birth to their babies, six deliveries in total as part of the project. This is a great milestone for us, seeing expectant mothers coming through for both ante-natal and child birth. Some of these mothers barely have anything, not even clothes for their babies; and seeing them having their babies safely is the dream come true. Below are pictures of two mothers who have benefited in Hope for Expectant Mothers Project holding their newborn."

We need folks to serve hot dogs and hamburgers, bottled water and coffee, and clean up afterwards. You may also sign up just to chat and talk to the folks in line. This is a great way to serve others and enjoy fellowship with our sister parish community!
We continue to ask for non-perishable food items to be brought up during the offertory at all weekend Masses and placed in the baskets at the foot of the altar. Alternatively, you may place them in the wooden chest outside the Adoration chapel.
