Giving Tree This Weekend!
Our Giving Trees will be up this weekend (November 22 & 23) loaded with 1,106 tags. The groups we are helping include: St. Al’s, First Step, SKLD (Plymouth Court), Manna Meals, Veteran’s Haven, Lennon Center, Vista Maria, Sanctum House, Pope Francis Center, AAA Pregnancy Resource Center, Wee Care, and Better Way Detroit. Upon contacting each of these groups, all but six groups would like to continue to receive gift cards.
Veteran’s Haven has asked for winter clothing items as indicated on their tags. Lennon Center has registered at Amazon so you can shop online and have your gift sent directly to them or you may bring your gifts into church the weekend of December 6 & 7 and we will deliver them. Pope Francis Center is making Christmas Backpacks and the items most needed as indicated on their tags. Wee Care is in need of specific items to make up layettes given to new mothers as indicated on their tags. Mary’s Mantle & Plymouth Community Forster Closet need specific items as indicated on their tags.
Our team will be collecting gift cards and gifts the weekend of December 6 & 7 before and after all Masses. Thank you in advance for your generosity in helping our brothers and sisters and may God continue to bless you.

A Thank you from PBJ Outreach!
PBJ Outreach would like to thank the OLGC community for the tremendous support you provide to our ministry on an ongoing basis. Never has it been on greater display than the generosity you displayed for our annual Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser and our winter blanket & clothing drive. The spaghetti dinner event provides 25% of our operating budget every year and your generosity enables us to continue supplying food and clothing to no less than four locations each month. PBJ also introduces a large segment of our youth to the concept of serving those in need. When we say “we couldn’t do it without you,” it’s not just empty words, truly thank you!
